Welcome to "The Tracy Triangle."

Tracy is formed by three major interstates: I-205, I-580 and I-5 in San Joaquin County.  We are an hour from the major metropolitan areas of San Francisco, San Jose, and Sacramento, and two hours away from Yosemite National Park. Over 101,000 motorists travel through Tracy’s freeway system each day, not including holidays. The Tracy Triangle’s traffic regularly consists of commercial traffic and commuter traffic from the Central Valley to the Bay Area.

The Tracy CHP Office strives to provide the highest level of Safety, Service, and Security to the people we serve every day. We are honored to live and work with our community. The Tracy CHP is committed to making, “The Triangle,” a safe and reliable route while traveling to your destinations.

Drive responsibly by driving sober, wearing your seatbelt, staying off your cell phone and obeying the laws that are in place to keep us safe.  Road rage is a serious crime and will not be tolerated, violators will be prosecuted. Do not be part of the problem.

In case of an emergency please call 9-1-1.
