The California Highway Patrol, Conejo Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility is located on US 101 in Ventura County between the cities of Thousand Oaks and Camarillo.  The Conejo Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility is not accessible to general members of the public, the closest Area offices are Moorpark (771) and Ventura (765).  The primary mission of the Department’s Commercial Enforcement Program is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of commercial vehicles on the California highway system.  The dedicated officers and Commercial Vehicle Inspection Specialists assigned to this facility work diligently to prevent traffic collisions attributed to mechanical defects or excessive driving hours involving vehicles and drivers subject to California Vehicle Code Section 34500.  The Facility maintains operations on both the northbound and southbound sides of US 101 to ensure compliance with weight and mechanical regulations.
