Officer Alfred G. Johnson

Officer Alfred G. Johnson, 29, had just stopped a motorist for speeding and was exiting his vehicle to begin the enforcement contact.  An oncoming motorist struck the left front of the stopped vehicle, hitting and killing Officer Johnson.  Officer Johnson had been a member of the CHP for six years and had served in the San Leandro, Los Baños, and Merced Areas.
